Harry Potter

“It All Ends Here”

I was very lucky to be part of the generation that grew up alongside Harry Potter and his friends. Each year, as the books came out, both Harry and I grew a year older, and we experienced a lot of the same things as we grew up (…aside from the whole magic thing).

To say Harry Potter represents my childhood is an understatement. It inspired me to be creative, use my imagination, dream of bigger things, and try to be a better and stronger person. I still carry the lessons I learned from this series with me to this day. And I still dream about which house I would have been in, and which animal I would choose to turn into if I were an animagus (it varies from the cool but impractical, like a wolf or a horse, to the more modest but useful sparrow).

I used to read the series every single year – life has been too busy for that lately, and I do miss it. But I look forward to annoyingly forcing my future children into reading it someday!

You can buy a print of my Harry Potter drawing here at my Etsy shop!

    • Dude, I always wanted to be a Ravenclaw too. I was so conflicted when Pottermore sorted me into Gryffindor…
And thank you! I can’t wait to start adding more and more art to the site!
